| Ethernet service mapping mode | |
| Port MTU | - When Port Mapping is set to Bit Transparent Mapping(11.1G), data frames whose length is equal to or shorter than 9600 bytes will be transparently transmitted. This means that the MTU value is 9600 bytes and cannot be modified. If the length of a frame is longer than 9600 bytes, only the contents within 9600 bytes will be forwarded and the excess part will be discarded.
- When Port Mapping is set to MAC Transparent Mapping(10.7G), the MTU value can be set by Max. Packet Length within the range from 1518 bytes to 9600 bytes. Data frames whose length exceeds the MTU value will be directly discarded.
